FG Cut Off Sale Of Subsidised Rice To Public Servants | Daily Report Nigeria

The federal government of Nigeria has stopped the sale of subsidized 50 kilo bags of rice to civil servants.

Recall that the government had implemented this as a way to tackle the hard economy in the country, but on August 2, 2024, a notice was sent on the withdrawal through the Ministry of Special Duties and Inter-Government Affairs Human Resources Management Department.

This notice if the withdrawal was sent on August 2, 2024, which was the second day of the nationwide #EndBadGovernance protest.

No reason was given for the sudden change of action.
