FG, Labour Resume Minimum Wage Talks

The Tripartite Committee on National Minimum Wage will resume its meeting with the Federal Government on Today.

The meeting was postponed to Thursday while awaiting the submission of the salary template by the Minister of Finance, Wale Edun, to President Bola Tinubu.

Tinubu had directed Edun to present the cost implications for a new minimum wage within two days.

The Committee, comprising the Federal Government and Organised Labour, decided to adjourn the session to allow for the presentation of the presidential template, a crucial element in the minimum wage negotiation.
