The Federal Government has moved the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) from Abuja to Lagos.
The relocation of FAAN was contained in a memo signed by FAAN’s managing director, Olubunmi Kuku.
The memo stated that the directive came from the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo.
It disclosed that Keyamo instructed FAAN’s management to provide the implications of the move.

The memo dated January 15 read:
“The Honourable Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development has directed that the headquarters of the Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) should be relocated from Abuja to Lagos.
”Consequent upon the above, you are requested to provide the implication of the relocation to the management.”
The decision follows the recent relocation of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN)’s major departments to Lagos.
