The Federal Government has reopened the application portal for the Presidential Conditional Grant to Nano Businesses as part of the Presidential Palliative Program.

According to the FG, each beneficiary will receive N50,000.00 (Fifty Thousand Naira).

The program aims to support one million nano businesses across the 774 local government areas.

To achieve the initiative, the FG will work closely with State Governments, Honourable Ministers, the Nigerian Association of Small and Medium Enterprises (NASME), Senators, and House of Representatives Members.

The above-mentioned stakeholders will utilize the FG’s selection criteria to shortlist beneficiaries from their respective constituents.

Targeted population included 70 per cent women and youth, 10 per cent people with disabilities, and 5 per cent senior citizens.

The remaining 15 per cent will be allocated to other demographics to empower and uplift small-scale entrepreneurs, fostering economic growth and resilience within local communities.
