FG to file more grounds against Nnamdi Kanu
Nigerians Federal Government has secured permission to file more grounds against Nnamdi Kanu,the embattled leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).
The permission was granted on Thursday by the Supreme Court for the government to add nine more grounds in its appeal against the October 13, 2022 judgment by the Court of Appeal.

The permission sought by counsel for the government, Tijanu Gazali (SAN) was granted by a five member panel led by Justice John Okoro.

The apex court also granted leave for the government to include the additional grounds to its amended notice of appeal dated 28th October 2022.
Meanwhile, lead counsel for Kanu, Mike Ozekhome (SAN) told the court about motions filed by the IPOB leader, including one in which he is praying to be relocated to Kuje prison from his current place of detention in a facility owned by the Department of State Services (DSS).
Ozekhome also claimed that Kanu was seriously ill and requires proper medical attention, which, he believed, his client could access at the Kuje prison.
The case was adjourned to May 11 for further hearing.
