The FIFA Club globe Cup has teamed up the best football clubs in the globe since its inception in 2000.
It stopped for a while between 2001 to 2004 before roaring back in 2005

and then took another break in 2024 for a major revamp.
Meanwhile, Real Madrid sit proudly atop the winners’ list with five titles (2014, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2022).
Barcelona comes next with three crowns (2009, 2011, 2015).
Furthermore, this tournament bears the imprint of Pep Guardiola who secured the trophy four times.
The current Manchester City’s head coach won the cup twice with Barcelona (2009, 2011).
The 54-year-old raised another one with Bayern Munich in 2013.
Most recently, the Catalan manager guided Manchester City to glory in 2023.

2000: Corinthians
Corinthians won the Club World Cup on debut, beating Vasco da Gama 4–3 on penalties after a goalless extra time.
2005: São Paulo
The final of the second FIFA World Cup which took place in Japan saw São Paulo from Brazil beat English side Liverpool 1–0 to become champions for the first time.
2006: Internacional
Brazilian side Internacional ease past Chelsea 1-0 to claim their first ever Club World Cup crown.
2007: AC Milan
AC Milan emerged as the first club in Europe to win the trophy following a 4-2 win over Boca Juniors from Argentina.
2008: Manchester United
The Red Devils won the FIFA Club World Cup for the first time with a slim 1-0 triumph over LDU Quito in Yokohama in December.
2009: Barcelona

2010: Inter Milan
Inter Milan completed the victory by beating TP Mazembe from DR Congo 3-0 in the final after first knocking out the defending champions Barcelona in the semi final.
2011: Barcelona
La Liga champions Barcelona won the 2011 version of the Club World Cup beating Qatari club Al-Sadd 4-0 in the semi final before dealing mercilessly with Santos of Brazil in the final by the same margin.
2012: Corinthians
Corinthians won their second Club World Cup following a 1–0 win over the then Champions League winners Chelsea.
2013: Bayern Munich
Bayern Munich defeated Raja Casablanca 2-0 to win their first Club World Cup title.
2014: Real Madrid
Los Blancos won 2-0 against San Lorenzo in the final to claim their first FIFA Club World Cup title.
2015: Barcelona

2016: Real Madrid
Real Madrid won their second Club World Cup, thrashing hosts Kashima Antlers from Japan 4–2 after extra time in the final.
2017: Real Madrid
Cristiano Ronaldo’s goal sealed a 1–0 win for Real Madrid, earning their third FIFA Club World Cup title and making them the first team to successfully defend it.

2018: Real Madrid
Real Madrid won the final 4–1 to claim their third straight and fourth FIFA Club World Cup title, becoming the competition’s all-time record holders.
2019: Liverpool
Liverpool went on to win the Club World Cup for the first time, beating Monterrey 2–1 in the semi-finals before edging Flamengo 1–0 in extra time to clinch the title.
2020: Bayern Munich
Bayern Munich won their second Club World Cup with a 2–0 win over Al Ahly and a 1–0 victory against UANL, becoming the second European club after Barcelona to achieve a calendar-year sextuple.
2021: Chelsea
Chelsea won their first FIFA Club World Cup title with a 2–1 extra-time victory on 12 February 2022 in Abu Dhabi. The tournament was moved from Japan to the UAE due to COVID-19.
2022: Real Madrid
Real Madrid claimed a record fifth Club World Cup title, defeating Al Ahly 4–1 and Al-Hilal 5–3. Seattle Sounders FC became the first American club to participate.
2023: Manchester City
Manchester City beat Fluminense 4–0 to win their first FIFA Club World Cup title.
