An Independent National Electoral Commission’s Result Collation Centre was greeted with serious fighting on Sunday in Imo State.
Daily Report Nigeria reports that the fight broke out between agents of political parties at the centre in the Orsu Local Government Area.
Trouble started when the agents protested against the results of the Saturday’s governorship election in the area.
According to the agents, the results were “manufactured.”

The angered party agents noted that no election was held in the Orsu Local Government Area, stressing that the results were falsified.
They further demanded for the results to be cancelled.
During the argument, a visibly upset Labour Party agent stood up in protest and was attacked by unidentified individuals who whisked him away from the collation center.
Meanwhile, the Imo State Returning Officer for the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Prof. Abayomi Fashina, said collation would continue after order was restored.
