Fiorentina are in serious contact with out-of-favor Barcelona midfielder Riqui Puig.
The 22-year-old has attracted a lot of attention in Europe with Fiorentina, Lazio, and Benfica all interested in the young Spanish midfielder.
Puig has a contract with Barcelona until 2023, but he is one among several players, including Samuel Umtiti and Oscar Mingueza, who have been asked to leave the team before the next season.
La Liga sides, Celta Vigo and Valencia are also interested in the lad especially the latter after Grannaro Gattuso’s arrival.
Puig’s interest is to find a club that can guarantee him playing time and he will surely take his time in making a decision.
