Fiorentina officially announced on Friday that they have signed former Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea. The Spanish shot-stopper joined the Serie A side as a free agent after departing Manchester United over a year ago.
Fiorentina’s statement on their website reads: “ACF Fiorentina is pleased to announce the signing of David de Gea Quintana.”
The club also mentioned that De Gea will be unveiled on August 12 at 14:00 in the Wind3 Media Center at the Rocco B. Commisso Viola Park.

During his time at Manchester United, De Gea secured multiple honors, including one Premier League title, one Europa League, one FA Cup, two League Cups, and three Community Shields.
