BREAKING: Goods Worth Millions Destroyed as Fire Razes Shops, Houses in Burutu

Several shops and houses were on Saturday destroyed by fire in Burutu community, Delta State.

This was revealed by the Publicity Secretary of the community, Peter Ziakegha.

According to Ziakegha, the early morning fire razed the popular Mama Efe shop and other shops in the Low Beach area of the community.

Taking to his Facebook page to announce the inferno, Ziakegha wrote;

“Goods worth millions of Naira destroyed as Popular Mama Efe shop and other stores including houses in Low-Beach in Burutu Community completely gutted by fire in the early hours of today.”

Cause of the fire could not be ascertained as of press time.
