FIRS Employee Shot Dead in Abuja | Daily Report Nigeria

Unknown gunmen have reportedly killed Khalid Bichi, a middle-aged man and Federal Inland Revenue Service ( FIRS) employee, in Abuja’s Maitama district.

Bichi was murdered before 9 pm, while he was out getting food on Friday night.

He was reportedly shot many times and subsequently brought to Maitama General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

According to sources, Bichi was well-known for his social media activity under the name @Khalid Bichi and his connections to prominent politicians.

The police are looking into the situation, according to Josephine Adeh, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Public Relations Officer.

He was laid to rest on Saturday afternoon following a funeral prayer at the Abuja National Mosque.
