As she was decorated with the title, traditional drummers filled the air with talking-drum rhythms while chiefs from across Yoruba land paid homage.
The Ooni described the honour as one rooted in service, motherhood and leadership.
In his words: “This title is not just for prestige, it is a call to uplift the Yoruba nation, women, and the next generation.”
The ceremony continued well into the afternoon as more guests poured into the palace to witness the moment.
