A new virus outbreak in China has caused panic both in the country as well as the rest of the world.

Daily Report Nigeria recalls the gruesome and catastrophic effect of the coronavirus in the world, which was rumored to have originated from China.

In videos making rounds online, some hospitals in China could be seen flooding with people, as they wait in line to get treated for the illness.

Death toll rises, as yet another virus breaks out in China

According to reports, the outbreak is said to have been caused by human metapneumovirus (HMPV).

Further reports from Dailymail, on Friday, January 3 likened this outbreak to the old COVID-19, following reports of crematoriums and funeral homes being filled up.

Quote from a funeral director, Ms. Wang also described the long lines at her crematorium:

“There are long lines for cremation now,’ she said in translated quotes. Today, three VIP furnaces were opened.

“They were all burning and emitting a lot of smoke. It was terrible. If you don’t know about the crematorium, you would think it is selling New Year goods, just like holding a trade fair during the Chinese New Year.’

How Youths Beat Up Monarch For Installing Imam in Osun

A group of youths have physically assaulted a monarch in Osun State while questioning his authority in appointing an Imam.

According to reports, the king had earlier appointed an Imam in the community mosque, a decision which did not sit well with the public.
