Armed Fulani herdsmen have once again attacked Benue state, as they kill and cause mayhem.
The assailants were reported to have razed many homes, creating panic and increasing death toll in the state.

The attack occured across four Local Government Areas of Benue State — Logo, Kwande, Ukum, and Guma.

Eyewitness reported that over 20 armed men invaded Jootar, Ukum LGA, killing eight people in the process.
The victims were identified as: Jonathan Ordooga, Aondogu Torse, Cheater Torse, Yagba Torse, Tersugh Mbaaiiga, Terhemen Emmanuel, Henenshima Apirgwa, and Orfega Atuku, who were reportedly ambushed en route to their farms in Tse Apirgwa Shabu.
In Logo LGA, five people were killed in Ayilamo and Tse Taste communities.
In Kwande LGA, herdsmen invaded Jato-Aka town around 4 p.m. on Friday, killing six people and setting houses ablaze.
The wave of attack, which reportedly began on Friday evening span across Guma LGA, where six people were also killed.
The state police command is yet to comment on the situation.
