FLASH: Hit-and-run Driver Crushes One-year Old Boy To D3ath

• A toddler has passed away, after being hit by a car in Ekiti.

• The boy was said to have been knocked down by a hit-and-run driver in the state.

A case of hit-and-run has claimed the life of a one-year-old boy in Ekiti state.

According to reports, the boy, identified as Desmond Adewole was crushed to death after visiting a church with his mother.

The incident happened at St Paul’s Anglican Church, Emure Ekiti during the Easter Sunday Service.

Desmond was said to have walked out of the church in a bid to find his mother, and was mistakenly run over by a car.

One of the members who confirmed the incident said the driver of the car has not been identified as he sped away.

Also confirming the incident, the spokesperson of the state police command said investigation has begun on the case

The victims were said to have been rammed by a truck while coming back from a mountain during the Easter celebration.
