Tragedy has struck the football world in recent days as the sporting community in Oman mourns the demise of Mukhaled Al-Raqadi.

The Muscat FC’s star reportedly breathed his last following a breakdown during a warm-up ahead of Omani League’s clash with Suwaiq.

The 29-year-old was said to have bade a goodbye to this sinful world on the 23rd of December following a heart attack.

Mukhaled was immediately rushed to the hospital after the attack but he couldn’t survive it as he died shortly after.

Mukhaled’s death was so stunning as he was confirmed to be in good health condition after having undergone constant check-ups prior to the crisis that claimed his life.

Muscat FC have therefore sent their condolences via a statement which reads:

“With hearts full of faith and accepting God’s decisions, Muscat Sports Club and all related to it extend their sincerest condolences to the Al -Raqadi family. ”

Napoli’s Marin Cacic also died in a training session two days earlier, following a heart issue.

Meanwhile, the two cases in addition to other players including Sergio Aguero and Piotr Zielinski have made a list of players who have had heart problems.

Fortunately enough, former Manchester City star, Aguero and the Poland international were able to survive it even though the health challenge has compelled the Argentinian to retire from football.
