The legendary Mighty jets of Jos captain had in January confirmed that he had been battling illness following the death of his wife.

Funeral prayers for the late coach will be held at 10am Monday.

He had be regarded as the most successful Nigerian coach in the women’s football.

Mabo led the Falcons to their best-ever outing at the Women’s World Cup – a quarter-final finish at the 1999 edition and was also the coach of the side at the 2000 and 2004 Olympic Games.
