Four Burnt To Death As Fire Guts Lagos Bar | Daily Report Nigeria

Four people have been confirmed dead, following a fire outbreak in Lagos state.

Daily Report Nigeria gathers that the fire outbreak was said to have occured at a lunge and bad located along Baale Road in the Olodi Apapa area of Lagos State.

Confirming the incident, the spokesperson of the state police command, Benjamin Hundeyin said the police received a distress call around 7:50am on Sunday, October 13, 2024, that a fire had broke out at a lounge and bar around 7.45am.

Following the information, the police and a team of firefighters swing into action as they mobilized to the scene.

He said the fire which affected the whole building, was eventually put out.

“Investigation revealed that four yet-to-be identified staff of the company got burnt beyond recognition in the fire. Their corpses were evacuated to Infectious Disease Hospital (IDH) morgue at Yaba,” he added
