Four Injured As Building Collapses In Plateau

• A building has collapsed in plateau state, leaving some injured, and while destroying other valuables.

• Daily Report Nigeria gathers that the incident happened in Riyom Local Government Council of Plateau State.

Eye-Witnesses from the location revealed the the building collapsed after a heavy rain fall in the area.

A resident in the area, who confirmed the incident nited that the rain had started on Sunday evening, and lasted for several hours till in the early hours of Monday.

Judith added that the house was located around the Government College, Riyom, collapsed in the early hours of Monday while the families were asleep, injuring four persons in the process.

Judith said,

“The people were sleeping in their house last night when the building caved in. Luckily, no death was recorded but four persons were injured. Those injured were mostly children and are currently receiving treatment in a hospital.’

Also confirming the incident, a resident, Bot Rwang said;

“We thank God that several family members living in the house escaped death by a whisker when it caved in on Monday morning. It is God who saved them because it is shocking how they escaped looking at the structure which collapsed completely with the debris on the ground”, Rwang said
