Four Kidnap Victims Regain Freedom in Ekiti

Four residents of Ekiti State, including a lawyer, who were abducted a few days ago at Ijesa Isu, in Ikole Local Government Area have regained their freedom from their abductors.

The victims were kidnapped on their way to Ado Ekiti from Omuo Oke.

Confirming the development, the Public Relations Officer of the Ekiti State Police Command, ASP Sunday Abutu said “They have all been released today at about 18:00hrs through the combined efforts of the police, the military, Amotekun, local hunters, as well as the family members.

“Effort is still ongoing for the possible arrest of the culprits.”
