Four Siblings Die One Day in Abia | Daily Report Nigeria

Members of Umukaonu Umuagu community in Abia grieved over the death of four siblings on Saturday.

They quartet died under enigmatic circumstances and were all been buried the same day.

The victims comprising of three males and a female, were all children of one Mr. Ikwunze Chibuzo.

The victims include Kingsley (3), Oluomachi (female, 8), Sunday (male,10) and Kelechi (male, 12).

The sad incident occured while the kids were spending their 3rd term holiday in the house of one Umueze Ibeku, their close family friend.

Ibeku, their host also died along with the four kids in the night after eating Suya with fruit juice.

Family sources, however, said that the results of the autopsy carried out on them were still being awaited.

Bishop Ogbonna at the funeral service, advised people to put their trust and hope in God as he has control over life and death.

According to him, “People are mourning because the kids, between the ages of three and 11, died one day.”

“When a man dies at old age, after acquiring education and wealth, people describe him as successful but we all mourn when a kid dies.”

IIkwunze also expressed gratitude to all members of the church who stood by him and his wife since the incident happened.

Finally, Onuigbo, represented by Eleogu and Aguocha encouraged the bereaved family to take consolation in God, as he prayed that the area would not encounter such or similar tragedy again.
