Fresh Baptized Man Drowns While Trying To Save Teen From Drowning

A man has been confirmed dead after trying to save a girl from drowning.

Daily Report Nigeria gather that the man, Lincer Lopez, 21 had earlier been baptized at the Boat Dock Park on Saturday, August 24.

It was gathered that Lincer decided to stay with church members afterwards, and while they all enjoyed the water,  a teen girl then started downing and Lopez attempted to rescue her.

Family and friends confirmed to WFAA that a boat managed to pull the girl from the water and revived her through CPR.

Police officers with the Waxahachie Police Department who confirmed the case said Lopez was rushed to the hospital, and he was confirmed dead.

Also speaking to WFAA, Jacob Lopez said

He was a hero,”

“He didn’t think twice about rescuing someone else. He didn’t think about the risk that he could die. And he did risk his life to save somebody else’s.”

“I haven’t really begun to, it hasn’t sunk in yet,” said Bell.

“He had just been baptized and gave his life to the lord, and our family, we pray for his family, and we pray for the little girl’s family,”
