Many have been left in tears after the unfortunate demise of a couple, who were victims of the invasion of St. Francis Catholic Church, Owo in Ondo State, by suspected Fulani herdsmen.
Daily Report Nigeria recalls that a gang of armed bandits attacked the church while mass was still ongoing.
While the total number of dead victims have been pegged to be over 50 persons with videos making rounds online showing lifeless bodies of worshippers pilled up as others wail.

Adding to the list of victims affected by the massacre is a couple who were reported to have gotten married on Saturday, June 4.
They were said to be present in church for their Thanksgiving ceremony before the unfortunate incident took place.
Friends of the couple took to various social media platform to mourn the couple, as they share photos from their wedding ceremony.
