Fubara Moves to Probe Wike's Tenure as Governor of Rivers State

Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State has announced plans to probe the 8-year administration of his predecessor, Nyesom Wike.

Daily Report Nigeria reports that Fubara announced plans by his administration to set up a panel to probe the governance of the state in the last eight years under his godfather, who is now a serving minister, on Monday, after swearing in Dagogo Iboroma as the Attorney General of the state shortly after the Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) was screened and confirmed by the Victor Oko-Jumbo-led House of Assembly.

Fubara charged Iboroma to quickly set up the panel of enquiry to look into the activities of the state government in the last 8 years.

He emphatically stated that the state was in a critical situation where it had become obvious that the political crisis could not be resolved.
