Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State has suspended the Port Harcourt N195 billion Ring Road project which was initiated by the former Governor, Nyesom Wike.
The N195 billion Ring Road project was aimed at decongesting Port Harcourt and traversing six local government areas of the state.
The suspension of the high-value infrastructure project followed the polemical conflict between Fubara and Wike which began earlier hours of Monday.
It was rumoured that despite holding the position of Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, Wike remained influential and in control of affairs in Rivers state.

Amaehwule was replaced by Edison Ehie, as its new Speaker
The House of Assembly further suspended Chibuzor Amadi, chief judge of the state.
