Fuel price has risen to N1,000 in certain parts of the country.

This is even as scarcity of the product continue to affect citizens.

According to Spokesperson of the Labour Party, Yunusa Tanko, fuel sells for as high as N1,000 in many parts in the north.

#EndBadGovernanceInNigeria: Tinubu Told to Reduce Fuel Price to N200

Taking to his X handle on Tuesday, Yunusa wrote;

‘’Congratulations the pump price of petroleum in the NORTH is now N1000 (2024). In 2012, Jonathan’s administration increased fuel price from N67 to N97 but reduced it to N87 in January 2015…..A tale of two leaders. Nigeria we hail thee our Renewed.”

Yunusa’s alarm is applicable in the South as many road users confirmed to our correspondent that they purchased the product at N1,000 per litre.
