FULL LIST: NBC Revokes Licenses of 52 Broadcast Organizations

The National Broadcasting Commission on Friday, revoked the broadcast licences of Silverbird TV, AIT, Raypower FM, and Rhythm FM amongst others.

DAILY REPORT reports that the decision was premised on the failure of the media organizations to renew their broadcast licences.

The revoking of the licenses was announced by the NBC Director General Mallam Balarabe Shehu, who directed state offices to liaise with security agencies to ensure the shutdown of the operation affected stations within the 24 hours.
