President Bola Tinubu on Monday appointed new Service Chiefs.

President Tinubu named Nuhu Ribadu, a former Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), as the new National Security Adviser (NSA).

He appointed Adeniyi Adewale as the Acting Comptroller General of Customs.

Tinubu’s decision to remove all service chiefs that he met in office was in response to the persistent calls by civil society organisations for fresh hands to handle the nation’s security apparatus, according to reports.
