Nollywood actress Funke Akindele has exposed a scammer named Prosper for using her identity to solicit money. She posted a screenshot showing the scammer using her name and photo to trick people into sending funds.
In one of the WhatsApp messages she shared, the scammer requested a loan of N200,000 from a victim, promising to repay it the next day.
Warning her followers about the scam, Funke Akindele wrote, “Please beware! This is not from me! Prosper!!! You won’t prosper with this!!! Thief!!!”
She urged the public to stay vigilant and avoid falling for such fraudulent schemes.
