Gabriel Jesus is off the mark with his new team as he scored a brace against Nurnberg on Friday evening.
The Arsenal striker opened the scoring after 90 seconds and then chipped in with the fifth goal as the Gunners put up an entertaining match ending 3-5 in favour of the English side.
Gabriel Jesus was officially unveiled earlier this week as the club’s fourth signing of the summer, following deals for fellow countryman Marquinhos, Portugal Under-21 star, Fabio Vieira and American goalkeeper Matt Turner.
The ex-City striker started well by linking up well with Eddie Nketiah to find the net for his first goal, while making a darting run across his marker to flick the ball into the net for his second goal.

Aside from the goals, the striker had a decent all-around performance and will hope to continue the momentum as soon as the season starts.
Mike Arteta will be pleased with the Brazilian international’s performance and will hope he also hits the ground running when the matches become competitive.
