Gareth Bale Names GOAT between Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi

Former Real Madrid winger Gareth Bale has shared his thoughts on the ongoing debate about the greatest player of all time (GOAT) between Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.

Gareth Bale, who played alongside Ronaldo at Real Madrid after joining from Tottenham for a then-record fee of approximately £85 million in 2013, enjoyed significant success with the team, winning three league titles before his departure in 2022.

In a recent YouTube video with Futcrunch, Bale participated in a blind ranking challenge where he had to choose his top five forwards.

When it came to the Messi-Ronaldo debate, Bale placed Ronaldo at the top and ranked Messi in second.

Bale announced his retirement from football last year after representing Wales at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
