Gas Explosion In Delta claims multiple lives
A tragic incident occurred in Orogun, Ughelli North Local Government Area, as a gas explosion claimed the life of Pastor Adese Onos, his wife, and housemaid.
Onos was the representative of the President General in the Forum of Presidents-General of Urhobo Kingdoms.
The explosion occurred at the residence of Ovie Omo-Agege, the Deputy President of the Senate and governor candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Although earlier reports stated that the victims were rushed to the University of Benin Teaching Hospital, the Pastor eventually succumbed to his injuries.

His wife and housemaid who were in critical condition at the hospital eventually lost their lives too.
According to reports, the housemaid passed away on Saturday while the cleric’s wife died on Sunday.
The Chairman of the Forum of Presidents General in Urhobo Nation, Chief Godwin Notoma, confirmed the death and expressed his condolences.
He described the representative of the President General of the Orogun Kingdom as a valuable member of the forum and his loss as terrible.
Similarly, the President General of Agbarha Warri Kingdom, Chief Emmanuel Ememu (JP), expressed his shock and sorrow at the demise of the Pastor. He praised the deceased for his humility, resourcefulness, and forthrightness
Chief Ememu said:
“He never claimed to be the president general of Orogun Kingdom in our forum, but he would rather always introduce himself as the representative of the president general of Orogun Kingdom, saying that shows his humility and honesty in him.”
