The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila says the electoral bill will be passed into law once the National Assembly reconvenes from its current recess.

Gbajabiamila gave the assurance during a chat with State House Correspondents after a meeting with President Buhari at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

According to the speaker: “We will do what is right for the Nigerian people.

“And I made it very clear that we’re not going to throw away the baby with the bathwater.

“Nigerians want it and Nigerians will get it. We may have tarried a little while.
