Belgian Pro League outfit, KRC Genk have announced the signing of Nigeria forward, Tolu Arokodare.

Arokodare joined the Smurfs from French Ligue 2 club, Amiens SC.

The 22-year-old comes in as a replacement for his fellow Nigerian player, Paul Onuachu, who moved to English Premier League side, Southampton on deadline day.

The striker previously played in Latvia with Valmiera and also in the Bundesliga with FC Cologne.

Arokodare expressed his delight after completing the move.

“I am very happy to be in Genk. At this point in my career I can’t imagine a better club.

“Together with the team I hope to continue the good results of the first half of the season and to win prizes. Paul leaves big shoes to fill. But I am determined to give 100% for this great club,” he told the club’s official website.
