The first two teams to qualify for the Euro 2024 quarter-finals have been confirmed following Saturday’s Round of 16 fixtures.

Germany secured their spot with a 2-0 victory over Denmark in Dortmund. After a goalless first half, Kai Havertz scored from the penalty spot, and Jamal Musiala added a second goal, marking his third of the tournament. Germany will face the winner of the Spain vs. Georgia match.

In another match, Switzerland stunned Italy with a 2-0 win. They will now face the winner of the England vs. Slovakia game in the quarter-finals.
