South Korea and Ghana will be looking for their first win at this World Cup when they face off on Monday afternoon.

South Korea was involved in a stalemate with Uruguay in their opener, while the Black Stars are playing catch-up in Group H after being on the wrong side of a five-goal thriller against Portugal.

The Black Stars will look to seal a defence that leaked all through against Portugal if they want to have a glimmer of hope in qualifying for the knockout stages.

South Korea felt good in the return to fitness of Son Heung-min, who donned a protective mask against Uruguay after his recent eye socket fracture and came through the game unscathed.

Hwang Hee-chan – who was an unused substitute on Thursday – is dealing with hamstring discomfort and is classed as a major doubt for the match day two clash.

Otto Addo lined up in a defence-heavy formation for the showdown with Portugal, which very nearly paid dividends, but the need for victory could see the Black Stars shift to a four-man defence here.

South Korea predicted line-up:

S Kim; M H Kim, M Kim, Y Kim, J Kim; Jung, I Hwang; Na, Lee, Son; U J Hwang

Ghana predicted line-up:

Ati-Zigi; Lamptey, Amartey, Djiku, Salisu, Rahman; Partey, Kudus, Abdul Samed; A Ayew, Williams

Odds / predicted Lineup

The draw which would keep both teams technically still in the tournament is priced at 11/5 (3.20).
