The Godfrey Tare Pondi Educational Foundation has taken a bold step toward promoting a clean and sustainable environment in the Niger Delta.
Over the weekend, the Foundation reaffirmed its commitment at the official flag-off of the Ogulagha Community Integrated Waste Management Scheme (OCIWAMS), an initiative aimed at tackling indiscriminate waste disposal and promoting eco-friendly practices.
Speaking at the event, Dr. Victor Isereke disclosed that the Foundation is ready to partner with communities across the region to implement effective waste management systems.
He emphasized that collaboration with host communities is central to building awareness, changing attitudes toward environmental care, and ensuring the long-term success of such projects.

Dr. Isereke, who spoke on behalf of the Foundation’s Chairman, High Chief Godfrey Tare Pondi, said;
“Our founder has mandated us to go into partnership with any community intending to embark on the journey of attaining a clean and green environment.
“We are ready to partner with all communities in order to replicate what we intend for Ogulagha community everywhere else”, Isereke added.
According to him, the Foundation’s vision goes beyond education to include environmental stewardship, youth empowerment, and community development, stressing that a cleaner Niger Delta is crucial for the well-being of future generations.
Community leaders and stakeholders present at the launch commended the initiative, describing it as a timely intervention that would not only improve sanitation but also create jobs and promote healthier living conditions.
