Elder Godsday Orubebe, the minister of Niger Delta Affairs under former President Goodluck Jonathan, has joined the All Progressives Congress, APC.
DAILY REPORT recalls that Orubebe recently quitted the Peoples Democratic Party, citing a short changing of the South in the zoning of the presidential ticket as his reason.
However, the former Burutu Chairman, was received by the leadership of the APC in the Council as he officially joined the ruling party.

Speaking at the event on Thursday, Orubebe affirmed commitment and passion to work for the party, describing it as his new home.
He assured that the party will claim victory in Delta State, stressing that resources need to deliver victory would be made available.
Comrade Moni Seikemienghan, Chairman APC Burutu, commended Orubebe for his decision to join the party.
Moni further expressed confidence that the addition of the former governorship aspirant was a big plus.
