Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State has appointed the 2023 governorship candidate New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP), Goodnews Agbi, a Special Adviser.
Daily Report Nigeria reports that Agbi was on the ballot of the March 18 governorship election in Delta State.
Agbi was appointed alongside eight others by Oborevwori on Monday.

The appointments was announced by Secretary to the State Government, Kingsley Emu via a statement in Asaba, the Delta State capital.
Also appointed is Barrister Michael Ogboru, a son of Great Ovedje Ogboru, the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in the March 18 governorship election.

Others include Hon. Ebikeme Clark, former Chairman of Burutu Local Government, and a son to Chief Edwin K. Clark, Mr. Sylvester Oromoni, Charles Whomrowho Oniyere, Mr. Sylvester Oromoni, Hon. Shedrack Ekene Rapu, Dr. Donald Onyibe Peterson, Hon. Peter Uviejitobor and Chief Nath Azuka Igbadi.
According to the SSG, date for the swearing-in of the Special Advisers would be announced in due course.
