Governor Adegboyega Oyetola of Osun, has condoled Iyiola Omisore over the death of his father, the Olu of Olode, Oba David Omisore.
Oyetola described the deceased as a respected father and an outstanding traditional ruler, who during his lifetime, exhibited the Omoluabi values of hard work, discipline, integrity and commitment to the service of his people.
In a condolence statement signed by Ismail Omipidan, his Chief Press Secretary, Oyetola said: “On behalf of my family, government and people of Osun, I commiserate with the former deputy governor, Senator Iyiola Omisore, on the transition of his father, the Olu of Olode, Oba David Omisore. I also offer my heartfelt condolences to the entire Omisore family and the people of Ife.
“I encourage Senator Omisore and other members of the family to take solace in the fulfilled and exemplary life the late traditional ruler lived and to continue with the good works he left behind, to keep his memory alive.”
