Governor Soludo Appoints Actor Bob-Manuel Udokwu as Special Adviser on Entertainment

Bob-Manuel Udokwu, a Nollywood actor, has been appointed as Anambra State Governor Charles Soludo’s special adviser on entertainment, leisure, and tourism.

The actor was appointed amidst seven others, according to the state’s commissioner for information, Paul Nwosu, who announced this in a statement on Tuesday, April 19.

Christian Aburime was appointed chief press secretary, while Tochukwu Nweke was appointed special legal adviser to the governor.

Chike Anyaonu was appointed managing director of the Anambra State Housing Development Corporation, and Joe Anatune as head of the Anambra State Signage and Advertising Agency.

Chukwuemeka Fred Agbata takes over as CEO of the state’s information and communication technology (ICT) agency, while Okey Ezeobi returns to his position as general manager of the Anambra state bureau of public procurement.

This is the third time Udokwu has been named as a political appointee for three different Anambra state governors.

During Peter Obi’s tenure, he was named senior special assistant on creative media, and Willie Obiano tapped him as a movie and entertainment industry aide.
