Grammys: Nigerians React as Angelique Kidjo Beats Wizkid, Femi Kuti, Made Kuti in Global Music Album Category

Angelique Kidjo, a Beninese singer and songwriter, has received the Grammy Award for Best Global Music Album for her album “Mother Nature” at the 2022 Grammy Awards.
This is the seventh time the Beninese singer has won an award in her career.

Kidjo, who has won the Grammy four times, said it is a big win for Africa during her speech.

Some Nigerians, on the other hand, are not taking it lightly. They had believed that no one else could win in the category in which Angelique Kidjo was nominated.
