French forward Antoine Griezmann emphasized that Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, and Kylian Mbappe are distinct footballers with their own unique career trajectories.
Griezmann, alongside Mbappe, helped France secure a strong start in Euro 2024 by defeating Austria 1-0. However, Mbappe had to leave the field in the 90th minute due to a serious collision that resulted in a broken nose after contact with Kevin Danso.
In an interview with BFM RMC Sport, Griezmann expressed his views on comparisons made between Mbappe, Messi, and Ronaldo.
“Kylian is forging his own career path. We need to distinguish between them and refrain from constant comparisons. This applies to Leo (Messi) or any other player. Everyone writes their own story,” explained Antoine Griezmann.
