A groom legs has been reportedly damaged after being crushed by a truck in a ghastly accident.

The terrible accident also claimed the life of a guest who came for the groom’s wedding.

This occurred along Ibrahim Taiwo Road, Ilorin, Kwara state, on Sunday.

While the groom’s leg were crushed, the wedding guest lost his life as a result of the accident.

The groom alongside the guest were on a motorcycle around afternoon when an SUV hit their motorcycle from behind, this led into a truck’s path as the guest skull was crushed immediately.

The groom who was riding the motorcycle got his both legs crushed while the guest died immediately.

The groom who got married on Saturday, October 11, was reportedly transporting the guest to a motor park at Wahab Folayiwo Road, to board a vehicle to Lagos when the accident occurred.

The deceased had come to Ilorin for the groom’s wedding and was obviously heading back home.

Confirming the incident, Spokesman for the state Police Command, Ajayi Okansanmi said thus;

“The two vehicles are already at our station while the drivers of both the Toyota Jeep and the truck have been arrested. We have commenced investigation into the incident.”
