Okpe, who read straight from a displayed post made by a “Anonymous Collective” page on Facebook, noted that Rufai’s life is in danger.

Though, the page claimed unaware of who Rufai is, it raised alarm of an impending assassination attack on Rufai and his family.

The group also made reference to plans to arrest the presidential candidate of Labour Party, Peter Obi.

It added that the plans to arrest Obi and assassination of Rufai were close to execution, and ueged the Arise TV anchor to stay safe.

Reacting to the threats on the show, Rufai said this would not be the first time he was receiving threats to his life and that of his family.

The broadcast journalist, however, said would not renege on his journey as Nigeria is in dire need of credible journalism.

In response to Rufai, Ojy Okpe said that everyone at Arise TV were behind him.
