Gunmen Abduct Catholic Priest In Imo | Daily Report Nigeria

Rev Fr Jude Maduka of Christ the King Catholic Parish in the Ezinachi/Ugwuago community of Okigwe Local Government Area of Imo State has been abducted by gunmen.

The Imo State Police Command spokesman, Henry Okoye confirmed the development to reporters on Sunday.

Okoye clarified the incident occurred on Friday evening, contrary to speculations that it happened on Sunday morning while the priest was preparing for mass.

According to the Spokesman,
the commissioner of police in the state has directed men of the command to trail the kidnappers.

The spokesman assured that the command would do everything possible to rescue Maduka unhurt and unconditionally and bring the kidnappers to justice.
