Tension has risen in Anambra State following the abduction of three people by gunme in the state.
According to reports, a lawyer, and three other people were abducted in Nkpologwu community, Aguata Local Government Area of Anambra State between 7:30 and 8:00 am on Saturday, August 11, 2024. One of the vehicles of the victims, identified as Ahinze was also spotted as it had summersaulted.

Confirming the incident, the President General of Nkpologwu Community, Prof. Ferdinand Ezeiruaku, said that victims were abducted from different locations in the community by armed men
“Two of the victims, including the lawyer, reside in Abuja, while the third victim is based in Port Harcourt. They had returned to the community to attend an event organised by the local women’s group,” Ezeiruaku explained.
