A group of gunmen have reportedly abducted an Anglican priest, Rev Agbadamashi Emmanuel, his wife, and children.
According to reports, the incident occurred on Friday, October 6, along the East-West road by Evwreni junction.

The cleric and his family were traveling from Ughelli to the Uwheru community in Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State when they were attacked and kidnapped by gunmen.
The Public Relations Officer of the Anglican Communion, Ughelli Diocese, Hon Justice Iyasere confirmed the incident to newsmen but could not confirm whether or not the kidnappers have made any ransom demand.
The Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Bright Edafe also promised to follow up on the kidnap and get back to newsmen as soon as possible.
