The Parish House and residence of Rev. Fr. Solomon Ukeyima has been attacked by unknown gun men who shot sporadically in the air.

The attack which took place in the early hours of Monday 5th October, 2020, had valuables (phones, laptop, cash, clothes, shoes etc) taken from the priest.

The victim, who is a priest of Makurdi Diocese and convener, Kyegh Sha Shwa (KSS) Cultural festival has advised that Facebook chats from his account be disregarded and transactions to his accounts paused with immediate effect.

However, he confirmed he is fine and doing well.

It will be recalled that, Fr. Ukeyima, recently acknowledged receipt of 1000 cartoons of assorted foods for internally displaced persons.

It will also be recalled that St. Peter’s Parish Low Level, Makurdi, was attacked a few weeks ago and at the moment, the church is temporarily locked pending the outcome of ongoing investigations.
