Unknown gunmen have reportedly attacked the Arum Inyi Police Division in Oji-River Local Government Area of Enugu State killing at least two persons.
They further set the station ablaze and also carted away arms and ammunition.
The incident, according to newsmen, occurred on Sunday morning.

More so, while attacking the facility, the gunmen were said to be chanting, “no election, Police in Biafra land.”
In a viral video, a building being used as a police station was seen on fire with the bodies of two young men lying by the perimeter fence of the station.
Some witnesses in the background were heard identifying the two victims as policemen.
But, another said he could only identify one of them as a policeman attached to the station.
The Public Relations Officer, Daniel Ndukwe was yet to confirm the event as of press the time.
Meanwhile, gunmen have been attacking security formations in Enugu and other South-Eastern states.
Barely three weeks ago, gunmen attacked an army checkpoint in Amodu Awkunana in Nkanu West Local Government Area of Enugu State. Two persons were feared killed in the attack.
In September, the wife of a leader of a local vigilante operative in Umuopu, Enugu-Ezike, a community in the Igbo-Eze North Local Government Area of the state by gunmen.
They also killed three police officers at New Haven, Enugu North Local Government Area of the state days later.
Again in September, members of the Labour Party (LP) who were holding a meeting in Awgu Community, Awgu Local Government Area of the state were attacked by gunmen.
